What's the benefit of being one of the Founding Forty?

If you are one of our 'Founding Forty' -- one of the first 40 companies to sign our pledge:
a. A carton of 40 books of Amy's book 'Tending'
b. An invitation to a 'founding partner' only private online event with Amy
c. Named in our press release as a founding partner
d. Your logo on our pledge page on our website -
How do I need to collect data within my company?
Answer
You can track directly inside your existing HRIS or survey platform(s). To ensure consistency across all pledge company participants, we will provide a standard template of questions for you to use. If you are not able to add a custom question to your existing tools, please let us know so that we can reach out to your provider.

Will TendLab support me in socializing this within my company?
Answer
We will share best practices, templates, and other supporting materials to enable you to collect the right data.

Will my company name be shared publicly as a participant?
Answer
We will ask for your permission, but we will request to share the names of participating companies publicly on our website and in marketing materials. Knowing who else is participating will encourage others to join in, and the more participants we have, the better our data and understanding will be.

What else can I do as a Pledge signer?
Answer
All Companies who participate in the Pledge will be eligible to apply for our Action Cohorts program, where we will combine behavioral science research and learnings from other industries to facilitate action-oriented peer groups. Through collaborative learning and explicit, supported action plans, participants will accelerate the interventions they make within their own organizations.
If your company is one of the Founding 40 Pledge Partners, you will get the following:
a. A carton of 40 books of Amy's book 'Tending'
b. An invitation to a 'founding partner' only private online event with Amy
c. Named in our press release as a founding partner

Is the Pledge just to commit to tracking the data or are we agreeing to take specific actions?
Answer
The pledge is ONLY to begin tracking the data.

Am I allowed to collect this data from my employees? Are employees required to disclose this to me?
Answer
You are allowed to collect this data from employees, though employees are not required to disclose this information. Caregiver status is not a protected class under the EEOC, though it is illegal to discriminate against employees based on their caregiver status.
