Fam Tech Family Launch :: Celebrate Amy's Launch of Tending

Amy’s book: “Tending: Parenthood & The Future of Work,” will be published by Nationbuilder Books in early March 2021. The Fam Tech Family will be the first to toast the much-awaited launch!

The book is a raw, personal narrative weaving together loads of research and stories from other parents. It also culminates in a chapter about our own Fam Tech community.

And it’s not just a book. It’s the seed of a movement.

Together with her team at TendLab, Amy is also launching an engagement strategy to build a movement rooted in the books’ premise (parents are ASSETS at work, not liabilities!). Despite the significant bias both moms and engaged dads are likely to face at work, Amy’s book reveals how modern leaders need the skills parenthood unlocks.

Today, most parents in America are facing crippling challenges: we were struggling before COVID, but now we’re drowning. It doesn’t have to be this way. Now is the time to take a stand for parenthood. Supporting parents is good for everyone, especially in our workplaces.
